We had our first lab with Shane in Week 2. It was particularly interesting on the basis that we were taught how to build our own android app, and it turned out pretty easy to do!
The app we made was called HelloPurr, which involved a picture of a cat that made a 'purr' noise. Fairly simple idea but I would have thought it would be complicated to make.
We followed the procedures outlined on Blackboard using a particular website that involved adding text, labels, sounds, images and commands.
There are two components to the website we use, a design page for the outlook of the app and a blocks page for the physical components in the background of the app.
Here's two images, the first showing my my final design and the second showing my blocks outlook.
